Dr. Parag Dalsania was born in a village where there was no running water or electricity in India. Being born premature, his grandmother first exposed him to plants and herbal treatments to ensure his survival. A few years later, he and his family migrated to the outskirts of industrial blue-collar Philadelphia. Then subsequently moving again to the suburbs of Washington DC. There, Parag Dalsania competed in college at the University of Maryland, and then went on to St. George’s University School of Medicine.
Parag Dalsania’s primary focus remained on looking for ways to heal people and thus went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Maryland Midtown Campus. Upon completion of his Residency, he subsequently went on to complete his fellowship at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Geriatric Medicine. There his focus was better deliver care for patients by understanding the whole person story rather than just the aliments.
Parag Dalsania has well over 18 years of extensive vast clinical experience including Primary Care, Tele-Medicine, High Risk/Complex Patients, Home Based Care, Long Term Care, Geriatric Medicine, and Memory Disorder Clinic. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Dalsania has nearly two decades of successful administrative leadership, empowering growth and enabling forward progress. He brings passion, creativity, vast capacity, knowledge, skills, and critical wisdom with proven impact that is meaningful to the patient, his staff, as well as the organization that he’s involved with.
Dr. Parag Dalsania, after completing over 18 years at the Department of Veteran Affairs, is currently pursuing independent ventures in Complementary and Integrative medicine, focusing on education and delivering holistic health care. Currently, he is the architect of his new venture where it will teach people on how to start and sustain their own journey into wellness.
